It all began in 1972 as the Florida Pool & Spa Show^sm and was often referred to as the spring show.  After many years as the Florida Pool & Spa Show^sm,  in 2009 the trade show also became known as the Orlando Pool & Spa Show^sm to make it a destination event and not limit it to only attracting attendees in Florida.  For the 2014 show the name was expanded again to be the Everything Under the Sun^sm Expo featuring the Orlando Pool & Spa Show^sm, commonly known as the Florida Pool & Spa Show^sm.  This event has Everything Under the Sun^sm!

The annual trade show is produced by the Florida Swimming Pool Association.
