Registration

On-site registration at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center begins Friday, October 19 through Tuesday, October 23, 6:30 am – 6:00 pm. Individuals who reside in the United States or Canada and who register by early bird cut off, will receive their confirmation letter, badge, and tickets by mail. Advance registration and tote-bag pick-up will be available at the convention center.

Attendance to any session requires a minimum one-day registration. One day or full conference registrants receive complimentary entrance to Friday's pre-conference course Peds 21 and Friday's Welcome Reception/Kids' Camp. Consult the registration form or visit the registrars at the convention center for details about additional ticket availability for special banquet luncheons, receptions, workshops, and courses.

AAP Members Save

Education Sessions

There is no advance selection for specific education sessions (excluding courses and workshops, for which an additional fee is required). Every attendee has the same opportunity to attend sessions on a first-come, first-served basis. Once that session reaches capacity, attendees may choose another session during the time frame.

One-Day Registration Fee

The one-day registration fee entitles you to attend that day’s activities only. A separate registration fee will be charged for courses and workshops.

Family Registration

The family registration fee is $10 per person and allows admission into our special evening events (Welcome Reception, Kids’ Camp, New Orleans Experience! at Mardi Gras World, President’s Reception, the Exhibit, and Plenary Sessions). Continuing medical education credits, entrance to scientific sessions, and tickets to other education sessions are not available to persons registered in this category.

Child Care Services

Additional child care services are available for a nominal fee of $25 per day and will be located at one of the hotels in the AAP Housing Block. You may prefer to book your hotel room at this property for convenience. Advance registration is required. To register, contact KiddieCorp at 800/942-9947 or visit https://www.kiddiecorp.com/aapkids.htm. KiddieCorp has been the official child care provider for AAP since 1991. KiddieCorp’s goal is to provide your children from the ages of 6 weeks to 12 years of age with a program that they want to attend, while providing you with that critical “peace of mind” feeling while you attend the conference.

Cancellation requests must be received by close of early bird registration, to receive a refund less a $50 administrative fee. Refunds will be processed one month following the close of the conference. Following early bird close, all fees paid to AAP for conference registration, ticketed catered events, special events, courses or workshops, and tours are nonrefundable.
