Please drop by to learn more about how we can work together to meet the growing language and culture needs of our multicultural, global economy. We offer free or low-cost research-based curriculum, materials, and professional development opportunities. The Department of Education established the Language Resource Centers (LRCs) in response to the growing national need for expertise and competence in foreign languages in K-16. Sixteen LRCs have created a national network of resources to promote and improve the teaching/learning of languages, especially less commonly taught languages (LCTLs). LRCs create materials, offer professional development opportunities for instructors, and conduct and disseminate research on foreign language learning.
