Earn your MA in Spanish Language Teaching while immersing yourself in the culture of Mexico. Southern Oregon University's Summer Language Institute is an innovative graduate program focusing specifically on the needs of Spanish language teachers. Students can earn their degree over three summers, while immersing themselves in local language and culture and making lasting connections with their fellow language teachers from around the country. We offer a unique curriculum that is designed to strengthen your language proficiency, teaching expertise and cultural understanding. Our program is held on the campus of the Universidad de Guanajuato, SOU’s sister university. Classes are scheduled in two successive three-week sessions each summer, from approximately mid-June through July.
