The Central Agency for Schools Abroad supports teaching German as a foreign language at 94 schools in the U.S. which offer the German Language Certificate (DSD). The focus lies on promoting the German language, including offering German teacher training, enhancing the exchange with American society and culture, providing schooling for German children living abroad and supporting Germany as a business and education location. Therefore, the Central Agency for Schools Abroad maintains an alumni network to support graduates in making the transition from school to vocational training or to universities in Germany.
