  • If finding adventure on your own is more your kind of style, then we have the place, the gear and the boat. Our remote cabin is setup to accomodate up to 4 people per week. It is furnished with 2 sets of bunk beds, small refrigerator, outhouse and steam/bath house. Our boat is a 24' open deck equipped with a brand new Suzuki 90hp outboard and 20hp backup kicker, state of the art Garmin GPS fishfinder, trolling rods, downriggers, and halibut rods and gear. Our bait shack and processing shed is available for tackle and fresh bait purchase, and care for your day's catch, and our flash freezer is always on. Clients bring their own food, do their own cooking, fishing and processing. Package includes 10# of fresh herring, 25 gal of fuel in the boat, various cod jigs, trolling flashers and spoons. Full week pkgs available throughout July and August. Call for availability. Cost is $7,995 for the week. 

  • Are you looking for the fishing adventure of a lifetime? Then look no further than A&W Big Timber Lodge! With some of the most liberal limits on halibut in Alaska, you are sure to fill several boxes and enjoy your catch in the months to come. We are a full-service saltwater charter, catching all species of fish the ocean has to offer, including halibut, ling cod, rock fish, and multiple species of salmon. This 5-day 6-night fully guided fishing trip includes lodging, meals and processing right on site. Show package is $4,495 per person (minimum of 2 per trip), We can accommodate up to 6 clients per week. A 4 person minimum will reserve services exclusively to your group for the week.

    If a Kodiak Brown Bear is on your bucket list then we should be your destination. Our guides have years of experience pursuing and harvesting these majestic beasts of the north. Come on an action packed adventure of a lifetime!! Tags are awarded through the Alaska Dept of Fish and Game with draws conducted in February of every year. Applications are accepted in the months of Nov and Dec of the previous year. Our lodge based hunts are $27,500 and our spike camp hunts are $21,500. Fall hunts can add Sitka deer for a trophy fee of $2,500. Hunts are 10-days. A contract is required to enter you into the draw. Contact us as soon as possible for the necessary paperwork.

    Our 5-day 6-night sea duck hunts are $3,495 per person with a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 6 hunters. Always wanted to bag the highly prized harlequin and long tail (old squaw) sea ducks? This is the place. We hunt sea ducks the first 2 weeks of December over decoys in ground blinds and out of our low profile boat. This a fast action, nonstop shooting adventure.

    Sitka Blacktail 5 day 6 night all inclusive once you arrive in Kodiak, Alaska. $7995 DIY hunt for 2 hunters (non-guided, daily transportation to and from the field) Hunters may harvest up to 3 deer, 2 foxes and if time and weather allows a day or two of fishing may be possible. This package includes food, lodging, transportation and use of of our processing facilities after your harvest. License and tags not included and may be subject to land use fees (all available for purchase on site at the lodge) various dates available

    Sitka Blacktail 5 day 6 night food, lodging, and transportation for 6 guys. October  31st-November 6th 2021 come experience Kodiak and Raspberry Islands with your group of friends and family. $22,500 ($3750 per person) this books the lodge and boat exclusively for your group.(non-guided, daily transportation to and from the field) Hunters may harvest up to 3 deer, 2 foxes and if time and weather allows a day or two of fishing may be possible. Can be upgraded to a guided hunt for additional fees. license and tags not included and may be subject to land use fees (all available for purchase on site at the lodge)

    We are located on beautiful Raspberry Island which is part of the Kodiak Island archipelago. Our lodge rests on 197 acres of privat owned old growth Sitka spruce forest, some of these trees have been aged at over 230 years old. From here as our base camp your adventure begins. We offer saltwater charter fishing, wildlife viewing, guided and diy Sitka Blacktail Deer and Roosevelt Elk hunts, guided Kodiak Brown Bear hunts, and Mountain Goat hunts.     • Diy Sitka Blacktail deer hunts $3999.00 Hunters arrive in Kodiak, Alaska on a saturday evening via Alaska Airlines, you then stay a night at one of the local hotels and await pickup on sunday afternoon, you will arrive at the lodge where your adventure awaits! You will be transported daily by boat to predetermined locations around the island (weather permitting). 2 wholesome meals and a sack lunch will be provided every day. We typically drop off as early as possible each morning, and pick back up as late as possible. on days that weather does not allow hunting can be done right behind the lodge or a sea duck hunt is always available. You will have full access to our meat processing equipment. and our flash freezer to care for your trophy after the harvest. Upon completion of your trip you will be returned to Kodiak on Saturday morning in time to catch the afternoon flight out.

    10 day Kodiak Mtn. Goat hunt...

    • 10 day Mtn. Goat hunt on Kodiak Island (8 day hunt 2 day travel). This hunt is based out of a base camp constructed of very comfortable Artic Oven Tents where we stage up and wait for conditions to be right to ascend the mtn on the adventure of a lifetime!! Sitka blacktail can be added at $2500 trophy fee. This hunt is a very physical and mentally demanding endeavor so be prepared, mother nature can show you her worst but the reward is always worth the sacrifice. Tags are obtained through the ADF&G drawing conducted in November every year with results posted at the end of Feburary. Give us a call and we can get your paperwork started so you are ahead of the game come application time.

    You will enjoy your stay at the A&W Big Timber Lodge where you have all the amenities of home while in one of our fully furnished guest cabins with full bathroom, you will awake to a wholesome fresh cooked meal before we depart on the boat for the day. With a sack lunch and rifle in hand we will cruise the shorelines in search of "the one" and which point the chase is on!!  And after a full day of breathtaking pursuit we return back to the lodge for another amazing meal and a warm cozy cabin to wake up refreshed and do it all again the next day. If Non stop action packed adventure is what you seek then give us a call today and let the adventure begin

    10 day spike camp hunt; $21.5k

    With this hunt we fly out of Kodiak on a floatplane to a base camp on the beach with the bears😳 This hunt is all spot and stalk from there. You will enjoy good meals and be comfortable in one of our arctic oven tents to keep you warm and dry. This hunt is physically and mentally demanding so be prepared, as Mother Nature can be brutal.
