Weld Engineering Co., Inc. manufactures the most complete and advanced line of Submerged Arc Flux recovery and flux handling products in the world.   We are very focused and committed to offering the highest quality equipment for the welding industry.   We have over 170 machines and components and can help with any Flux Recovery problem, from Standard Duty applications to Super Heavy Duty Pipe Mill applications. We have the equipment to fit any flux recovery needs.

We design and manufacture automated, self-cleaning flux vacuums, dust collectors, ovens and pressure feed tanks with a commitment to cost reduction and very high productivity.  Proper flux handling systems will reduce welding costs by recycling a very valuable resource (flux), reduce labor expenses (by reducing flux handling and clean up time), and will help to create a safer, healthier and more productive work environment.

Continuous live demonstrations of flux recovery will be taking place at Booth #B21025.

  • The New HPFR-3000-H300/H300 Sub-Arc Pressure feed and recovery system uses a Low Profile 300lb Tank. Height is reduced for ease of accessibility for loading flux. Product is shown with FTV-3000 Auto Flux Transfer Valve and Low Level Sensor. To complete the system for a New installation one must add the Vacuum system (Extreme Duty MM-3000X or MM-5000X or Heavy Duty SPS-3000 or SPS-5000) plus other accessories which include vacuum hose, recovery hose, pressure feed hose, recovery nozzle and PFR-LD3 small hopper pressure feed cover.

System in photo has installed the FTV-3000 Auto Flux Transfer Valve between Upper Hopper and Pressure tank and Flux Low Level Sensor (Loud horn and Flashing Light indicate when Tank is at a Low Level. The Hopper and Tank are also Heated to keep Moisture out of the stored flux.
