Can I attend the educational sessions that are NOT on the trade show floor?

Yes.  Your registration fee includes the exhibition and entrance into all educational sessions.  Facilty tours require a separate registration and fee.

Do I have to be a member of WQA to attend the conference and exhibition?

No, you can attend WQA Aquatech USA and not be a member of the Water Quality Association (WQA); however, you are eligible for discounted registration fees if you become a member of WQA.  For WQA membership information, click here

These popular brief, trade show floor sessions are a great way to obtain facts, features, and working knowledge about products and services. Educational sessions are held in WQA Aquatech USA sponsored AquaStages on the trade show floor. No need to register for a session.  Simply stop by and listen to the session. They are open to all registered! 

What are Hands-On Product Training Sessions and are they included in the registration fee?

Exhibitors will demonstrate, educate, and provide hands-on product training for their key products and services.  You’ll have the opportunity to ask specific product questions in a private classroom setting.  These sessions are for all prime users including service technicians, customer service, sales reps, installers, application specialists, or anyone wanting specific product knowledge and training. And they are open to all registered attendees!

The WQA Professional Certification Program is designed to help consumers identify individuals on the point-of-use/point-of entry water quality improvement industry who have demonstrated a certified level of professional expertise and are dedicated to high professional standards.

WQA’s program tests and certifies only individuals, not dealerships or companies.  WQA membership is not required.  For more information, go to Professional Certification on the WQA Web site www.wqa.org

How is exhibit space assigned?

Exhibit space assignments are made in accordance with WQA's Priority System for those exhibit space contracts recieved (with the required Initial Payment and Administration Fee) by August 2, 2013. Contracts received after August 2, 2013, will be assigned space on a first-come, first-served space-available basis and must be submitted with required initial payment deposit  (Please note:  this process may take a few weeks).  You will recieve an email confirmation once your exhibit space is assigned. For further information, please contact WQA Aquatech USA's convention department at 630 505 0160 or via email convention@wqa.org.

 

 

 

What are the guidelines for display? What is the description of the various types of booth displays (for example: linear booth, corner booth, peninsula, etc.?)

What is included in the fee for the exhibit space?

Each 10' x 10' space will be provided with the following:

  • 8' high backdrop drapery and 36" side rail drapery (often referred to as "pipe and drape".  Click here for photo.)

  • One (1) 7" x 44" exhibitor identification sign with exhibitor name and exhibit space number.

Note: Exhibit space furnishings, such as tables, chairs, etc., including carpeting, as well as labor, electrical, telephone, water, drain, and other services, will be at the expense of the exhibitor. Carpet for the exhibit space is mandatory.

This information is included in the Exhibitor Services Manual, which is available in December.

Are the Keynote Speaker Sessions open to all registered attendees?

Yes. 

How do I register for the conference if I am a speaker?

If you are a speaker, you do not need to register for the conference. WQA will handle your registration and mail you your badge a few weeks before the conference.

Will a laptop computer be available for my session?

No. WQA does not provide laptops; speakers must bring their own.

What A/V is provided by WQA?

For presentations in the meeting rooms (not for hands-on training), WQA provides a screen, LCD projector, and podium microphone. For presentations in the WQA booth, WQA provides a screen, LCD projector, hand-held microphone, and lavaliere microphone. For all other types of presentations, the speaker is responsible for all A/V.

How do I request additional A/V?
  • Speakers presenting technical (not hands-on) and/or business presentations in the meeting rooms and in the WQA booth can request additional A/V by clicking on their presentation title and filling in the A/V field.
  • Speakers presenting in their company’s booth must order A/V through the exhibitor service provider found in the Exhbitor Service Manual. 
  • Speakers presenting hands-on training in meeting rooms must order all A/V by using the presentation registration form for hands-on training.
