What do I do when I arrive at Boston Convention and Exhibition Center?

I registered before the September 2 deadline:
• Registration badges and materials are mailed to you in advance — bring this documentation to the Tote-Bag Pick-Up area in the North Lobby of the convention center to get your badge holder, lanyard, and conference tote-bag which includes the Onsite Program Book.  If you registered by this date, but did not receive your badge, proceed to the Advanced Registration booth to have the materials reprinted.

I registered after the September 2 deadline:
• Registration badges and materials must be picked up in the Advanced Registration booth in the North Lobby of the convention center.  A photo ID is required.

I am an International attendee and registered in advance:
• Registration badges are not mailed in advance — you proceed to the Advanced Registration area in the North Lobby of the convention center.  A photo ID is required.

I have not registered yet:
• Complete an onsite registration form at one of the kiosks located in the North Lobby of the convention center.  Then, proceed to the Onsite Registration booth to complete your registration and receive your badge.

Where can I eat while at the convention center?

A variety of dining options are offered during the AAP conference throughout all buildings of the convention center.
• A food court is available on the third floor of the convention center, and offers a wide variety of food and beverage to please any palette.
• Concessions will be available in various locations throughout the convention center, as well as inside the exhibit hall during exhibit hours.
• There are several special non-ticketed evening events including receptions and dinners open to all general attendees. Please consult the program for details.

Where can I get help?

Visit the conference Information Booth, located in the North Lobby of the convention center. You may also email nceinfo@aap.org for assistance.

What do I do in case of an emergency?

For all emergencies at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center (BCEC) — fire, police and medical — dial ext. 2222 from house phone or call 617-954-2222 from your cell phone. Please do not call 911. Inform BCEC security of: the nature of the emergency, your name, phone number from which you are calling, and exact location.

Where is the lost and found?

Lost articles may be picked up at the Information Booth, located in the North Lobby of the convention center. After the meeting, all unclaimed articles will be returned to the AAP Headquarters office. Please email registration@aap.org.

How do I locate an exhibit hall?

Technical Exhibits are in Halls B and C, which are located on the “0” Level of the BCEC.
