ImmunoProfile® has built a first-ever, IgG antibody test panel for multiple vaccine-preventable infectious diseases. Only a finger-prick sample is collected in the office, on-site, clinic or hospital. The test results provide a qualitative result with a numerical output for all diseases, including the most common for hospital pre-employment and municipal employee testing (Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella Zoster). Others can be included in the panel at no additional cost (Diphtheria, Hepatitis A, H. Influenzae B, Pertussis, Polio, and Tetanus). The accuracy of this test panel, which uses a dry blood spot (DBS) sample method, is equivalent to the accuracy of the standard of care using a blood draw and central lab. (1) The test is being validated as a high complexity test under the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) of 1988. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has not approved this test.
