The Commission on Dental Competency Assessment and the Western Regional Examining Board, the two leading dental competency assessment organizations in the United States are now a single licensure testing organization, CDCA-WREB. We are committed to a national uniform examination process dedicated to the protection of the public through cooperation with state dental boards, testing agencies, organized dental and dental hygiene, and educational institutions.
The CDCA-WREB simplifies experiences for educators and students engaged with the ADEX examination in Dentistry and Dental Hygiene. By 2023, all ADEX assessments, the preeminent accepted national licensure examination in the oral professions, will be delivered by a single organization.
