Overview

Avrio MedTech (MedTech of the Future in Greek) develops diagnostic tools for intracranial EEG (iEEG, SEEG or grids) procedures, leveraging existing and new biomarkers such as high-frequency oscillations (HFO), including fast-ripples. We aim to improve the quality of life of patients suffering from drug-resistant epilepsy and help their neurologists understand their unique disease, better localize the brain regions responsible for their seizures and identify the best treatment options for them, without necessarily requiring a seizure to occur during the monitoring period. At the moment, Avrio MedTech offers advanced intracranial EEG analyses for research-use only, with tools available both on our secured cloud and on premises.  We are your partner for any research program requiring advanced analyses of iEEG signals, including detection and characterization of HFOs, such as Fast ripples (FR) or ripples, epileptic spikes or seizures. We work with conventional clinical electrodes, but also with the latest generation of hybrid electrodes, which include microwires. We tailor our reports to your needs. Our ability to provide live quantitative information allows you to consider new adaptive treatments, whether using drugs or through neuromodulation. Avrio MedTech is a spin-off of the Toulouse Brain and Cognition Center (CNRS) and the Toulouse University Hospital. We offer advanced quantitative analyses of your iEEG signals, identifying and quantifying events like fast-ripples, ripples, epileptic spikes, seizures. We can tailor pipelines, reports and reviewing software according to your needs. We leverage Halyzia, our patented AI solution, and our cloud-based data management platform.
