American Foundation for Suicide Prevention
AFSP is a national organization that gives those affected by suicide a nationwide community empowered by research, education and advocacy to take action against this leading cause of death. Despite the fact that more is being done today to prevent suicide than ever before, the rate of suicide continues to rise in the US. Through our Project 2025 initiative, we have determined the programs, policies and interventions that will prevent as many suicides as possible in the shortest amount of time.
