The Evergreen Center is a community-based, year-round residential school located in Milford, MA. We serve children and young adults with autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities, physical challenges, and severe maladaptive behavior using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis and functional teaching strategies. We believe our students learn best when teaching opportunities are embedded within their natural routines and environments. We improve the quality of life for our students by providing collaborative, interdisciplinary services. At the heart of our work is the knowledge that every individual is capable of learning and growing.
Our custom residences are situated in typical neighborhoods, providing children the opportunity to access local shops, restaurants, parks, and more. Our state of the art Central Education Facility (CEF) offers ample space and resources to provide academic, vocational, art and music, self-care, aquatic, and fitness activities. We also have centralized nursing located at the CEF seven days a week to provide support to the students across environments.
