Delkor’s Top-load Case Packer was specifically designed to meet the requirements of one vertically integrated mass merchandiser for a Shelf Ready display package.
This application challenged Delkor Engineers to limit to one-half inch the frontal height of a tapered tray so that consumers would have full view of the multi-packed products within it. Once formed by a Trayfecta Tray Former, the tray indexes into a load station on the Case Packer where two pack patterns of product are simultaneously top-loaded. Depending upon product type, a top pad may be added to provide added stability to the shipper.
Delkor’s Case Packer is designed with tool-less changeover capabilities to handle a wide range of product sizes and pack patterns. As for versatility in shipper styles and formats, the Case Packer can changeover to run corrugated top-load wraparound cases or Spot-Pakâ packages.
