Serving the emergency services community, EMS Today provides professionals with a valuable combination of progressive education, developed by industry experts and JEMS contributors, and the latest equipment from leading manufacturers. The conference program includes several education tracks:
These sessions are applicable for EMT-B as well as EMT-I and EMT-P, although the material will be more of a refresher for the latter two provider levels.
These sessions are intended for EMT-P providers only; the material presented will be at an advanced practitioner level.
MANAGEMENT and OPERATIONS
For managers, supervisors and EMS executives, these sessions present the latest topics on operations, government regulations, strategy and practical tools for EMS agencies/departments to be successful.
TOMORROW'S HEALTHCARE SYSTEM
These sessions focus on programs and implementation strategies for EMS agencies within the new healthcare system.
For educators, whether full-time or part-time, this track offers education on topics such as instructional design, presentation skills and student interaction.
These are topics of interest to all EMS professionals, regardless of their certification level or employer. Previous topics have dealt with safety and fitness programs, sleep deprivation, legal issues for all provider levels, career planning, rescue, vehicle specing and maintenance.
