The occupational segment amongst manufacturers with the largest expected growth-of-need over the next five years is not skilled production or technicians and engineers—it’s management.
Athabasca University has launched an online Manufacturing Management Certificate (MMC) in partnership with the Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters. The MMC prepares students for long-term success in management by providing immediately applicable knowledge, skills and strong peer mentorship, without requiring travel to a classroom.
To earn the Manufacturing Management Certificate of completion, students must finish all 8 courses. Each course is four weeks long and requires approximately 8 to 12 hours per week for readings, online discussions, and weekly assignments. The certificate can be completed in approximately 11 months. The MMC is approved for the Canada-Provincial Job Grant for 2/3 tuition reimbursement
