As demand for rubber and silicone products increases, Caplugs is investing in expanding production capacity, developing a new clean room manufacturing facility designed for compression and injection molding capabilities.
The new 3,750-square-foot clean room space, designed to meet Class 8 standards and ISO certifications, is expected to come online in October 2021. Caplugs After overcoming substantial engineering challenges, Caplugs has developed a manufacturing environment able to meet the rigorous requirements of rubber molding in a cleanroom setting.
“The addition of a new rubber clean room facility allows Caplugs to handle some of the most challenging requests from our customers,” said Vimal Venugopalan, Director of Industrial Business Development for Caplugs. “With the new space, we can not only accommodate silicone production for medical customers, but also for our industrial and automotive customers in need of products that are produced with low tolerances in a tightly controlled production environment.”
