  • The DeHoff G560-R2 is a twin-spindle pull-reaming machine used to manufacture gun barrels. It has an extended slide travel of 60 inches (1524 mm), which is 25% more than the previous model offered by the company. It can accommodate barrel sizes from 17 to 50 caliber, with automated loading/unloading of barrels.
     
    The machine features a durable, heavy-duty design that incorporates a cast iron drill head base with hardened and ground steel box ways, plus hand-scraped and fitted saddle, gibs, and straps (versus linear guide ways and milled surfaces). This results in superior vibration damping, extended tool life, and improved hole accuracy and surface finish. Standard elements are also included on the G560-R2, such as a high-pressure coolant system, Beckhoff controls, and a full machine enclosure.

  • The Eldorado M75-30T is a twin-spindle gundrilling machine widely used for the manufacture of orthopedic implants, including femur nails and bone screws. The machine has greatly improved the accuracy of the components while also reducing the drilling cycle time.
     
    The M75-30T has a 0.75-inch (19.1 mm) drilling capacity and a 30-inch (762 mm) drilling depth. It features two drilling spindles with independent spindle control, allowing two different drilling cycles at the same time. The machine also utilizes precision chucks and tailstock counter-rotation of the workpiece to improve drilling performance. Tailstock position is controlled via programmable servo to accommodate different part lengths.
     
    The machine features a durable design that incorporates flame-hardened and ground cast iron box ways and hand-scraped spindle housings (versus linear guide ways and milled surfaces). This results in superior vibration damping, extended tool life, and improved hole accuracy and surface finish.   • The DeHoff G560-DR2 performs both gundrilling and reaming operations on gun barrels. After first gundrilling the barrels, a quick tooling changeover allows a pull-reaming operation to be performed using the same machine. The twin-spindle machine has a barrel capacity of 17 to 50 caliber and a slide travel of 60 inches (1524 mm).

  • DeHoff BTA/STS 2084
    BTA/STS machine used for helicopter manufacturing...

  • The DeHoff BTA/STS 2084 is a BTA drilling machine used to manufacture drive shafts for helicopter tail rotors. The shaft begins as a solid piece of high-strength alloy steel, and is drilled in a single pass using the BTA machine. This process results in a significant weight reduction for the finished drive shaft.
     
    The BTA/STS 2084 has a 2-inch (50.8 mm) drilling capacity and an 84-inch (2134 mm) drilling depth. The machine can also be offered with slide travels of 36 inches (914 mm), 60 inches (1524 mm), or 120 inches (3048 mm). It has a single spindle with a 20 hp spindle motor. A high-torque gearbox with a 4-speed transmission enables the machine to deliver up to twice the torque output of a standard DeHoff model.

  • Eldorado KM75
    3-axis gundrilling machine with G-Code programming capability...

  • The Eldorado KM75 is a 3-axis gundrilling machine used to manufacture products like transmission shafts, manifolds, and mold matrices. The machine includes updated Beckhoff controls with G-Code programming, which provides enhanced flexibility. Complex gundrilling operations can be performed with a single fixturing setup.
     
    The KM75-48 features a “knee” fixture table to provide 3-axis CNC gundrilling capability. Drill capacity is 0.078 to 0.75 inches (1.98 to 19.1 mm). Drill slide travel in the Z-axis is 48 inches (1219 mm), with table travel of 24 inches (610 mm) in the X-axis and 12 inches (305 mm) in the Y-axis. 
     
    The machine has a durable design that incorporates hardened and ground box ways and hand-scraped mating components (versus linear guide ways and milled surfaces).   • DeHoff G536-C1
    New gun barrel single-point cut rifling machine...

  • The new DeHoff G536-C1 is a CNC machine used to “cut” rifling grooves into gun barrel blanks, and is an alternative to button rifling. Since the cut rifling process creates the rifling groove using a single-point cutter instead of via deformation, it does not induce any additional stresses into the barrel. The G536-C1 is the first fully CNC programmable single-point cut rifling machine commercially available for sale in the U.S.A. 
     
    The G536-C1 can perform cut rifling on barrels ranging from 22 to 50 caliber and from 4 to 30 inches (102-762 mm) in length. Twist rates range from 1 rotation every 4” (102 mm) to 1 rotation every 60” (1524 mm). The machine provides the ability to cut rifle at variable twist rates along the length of the barrel, also known as “gain twist”. Other programmable operations include traverse rate, depth of cut, and number of grooves.
