BigRep is a Berlin-based technology start-up that develops and manufactures the world's largest,
standardized 3D printer. Founded in 2014, it has become a market and technology leader in the field of
large-scale, serial 3D printing in just 24 months and has set itself the goal of changing the design,
prototyping and industrial production of 3D printers from the ground up. With a volume of more than 1m³,
the BigRep ONE is currently the largest FFF printer (Fused Filament Fabrication) available on the world
market and thus closes the gap between 3D printers used in private enterprise or in industrial applications.
In addition to the 3rd generation of the BigRep ONE, the new 3D printers, BigRep Studio and BigRep Tech,
are now supplementing the company's product portfolio. The ever-growing team of engineers, machine
builders and other staff at BigRep numbers over 60 employees from twelve nations that not only contribute
a significant part to the emergence of the "machine builder of the future", but also work with passion to
achieve the next industrial revolution.
MMI: Take this opportunity to tell us how you support the use of additive manufacturing in medicine. In cooperation with Kühling&Kühling BigRep presents its new masterpiece for industrial manufacturing. The BigRep Tech is fully loaded with state of the art technology for engineering-grade 3D prints. Based on FDM 3D printing technology, the BigRep Tech is specifically designed for industrial manufacturing. Processing engineering grade materials like high-impact polycarbonate in small and mid-scale batches has never been as straightforward and economic.
