DWS was founded in 2007, after a long consolidated experience in R&D and prototyping. Today DWS is the only Italian company able to develop hi-tech solutions for prototyping and rapid manufacturing, implementing the stereolithography technology and with an in-house production of all the materials and resins. The goal of DWS is to reduce development times for new products and, as a consequence, time to market. DWS exports 80% of its products in over 60 countries around the world and is divided into four business units: Jewellery & accessories (DigitalWax® J), Dental Labs & Clinics (DigitalWax® D), Industrial & design (DigitalWax® X) and also consumer goods (XFAB). All materials and resins necessary for the realization of the prototypes and finished goods emulate a wide range of plastics such as ABS, polypropylene, elastomers and also nano-ceramics resistant to high temperatures suitable for molding. The range is over 55 materials available with unique features for different applications.
