Wayne Bernahl is president of W. Bernahl Enterprises, a consulting firm located in Elmhurst Illinois. He has had 46 years experience in the water treatment industry where he has held various sales, marketing, and consulting positions. He has traveled the world providing consulting services on ion exchange, membrane systems, and steam generation. Wayne has authored several articles and presented several papers on ion exchange and membrane operations. He was a past chairperson for NACE International Task Group T-7H-7 on deaerator cracking which developed NACE Standard RP0590-96. He is a current member of the Water Technology Subcommittee of the ASME Research and Technology Committee on Water and Steam in Thermal Systems and is a member of the ASME Performance Test Codes Committee PTC 31 High-Purity Water Treatment Systems Wayne is also active on the International Water Conference (IWC) Executive Committee.
