The School Safe snack business officially launched in 2003, but the idea started long before then back on the Johnson family farm. We recognized the hardships in sourcing products for those with a Nut, Peanut or Dairy allergy, and many families like ours where baking their own snacks from home. We mastered our recipes and took our vision of supporting others affected around the world to production. Our goal was to target the market with a Fresh-first approach so that our products could be found at bakery.

We are a dedicated company and take allergies very seriously, given we are entrusted in producing snacks for kids and adults. All our products are manufactured in a Dairy, Nut and Peanut-free, Canadian owned facility, and our ingredients are sourced from manufactures that are also Peanut, Nut and Dairy free. Our mission continues to be innovating a variety of indulgent safe snack foods as we believe it is important that everyone can be inclusive and feel safe. DAIRY FREE!

Allergy to cow’s milk is the most common food allergy in infants and young children. People with an allergy to cow’s milk may also be allergic to milk from other animals, including sheep and goats. School Safe® products do not contain milk, or any other dairy products containing milk protein.
