Water is used to clean the leaves, then steam and pressure are used to shape the leaves into elegant Patra® Eco- Dinnerware. No chemicals, dyes or wax are ever used in any part of the process. BIODEGRADABLE Patra® Eco-Dinnerware is completely biodegradable after disposal, and will naturally biodegrade in 3 to 6 weeks. COMPOSTABLE Patra® Eco-Dinnerware is from only fallen leaves, so it can be composted both at home and in industrial composters. When composted, Patra® Eco-Dinnerware releases nutrients into the soil to help aid in the growth of plants.
