Pluck Tea is an independent, award winning, woman-owned tea company based in Toronto that incorporates locally sourced ingredients in their small batch handmade blends. Founded in 2012 by Tea Sommelier and passionate entrepreneur Jennifer Commins to ‘fix restaurant tea’ Pluck Tea is served in top restaurants and cafés.
In addition to sourcing ingredients from local and Canadian growers, Pluck’s sustainability mission includes diverting food waste by finding and creating upcycling opportunities within the food and beverage industry. Examples include dried citrus peels saved from a cold pressed juice maker, cacao shells from a local chocolate maker, and grape skins from Niagara.
