YSpace - York University & Black Entrepreneurship Alliance (BEA)
Black Entrepreneurship Alliance (BEA) is a community-university initiative between Black Creek Community Health Centre and York University's YSpace, TD Community Engagement Centre, and Schulich ExecEd. BEA comprises a suite of agri-food, tech, and upskilling programming to support the advancement of Black entrepreneurs and professionals.
The program is designed to take away some of the barriers faced by entrepreneurs within the Black Community, and equip them with the skills and framework to launch or scale their business. It also provides access to industry resource, mentorship, expert support and networking opportunities.
