The Canadian Dairy Commission (CDC) provide leadership to enhance the vitality of Canada's dairy industry for the benefit of Canadians. The CDC supports growth and innovation in the manufacture and use of Canadian dairy products, and offers programs and services for dairy processors, food manufacturers and dairy ingredient users. The Matching Investment Fund provides funding to help eligible companies and food technology centres with product development/reformulation initiatives that stimulate demand for Canadian dairy products and ingredients. The Special Milk Class Permit Program provides eligible further processors with the means to access Canadian dairy ingredients, at prices that allow to remain competitive in the marketplace.  The 3(d) milk class program provides restaurants access to cheese at a reduced price for pizza prepared and cooked on site. The Dairy Innovation Program provides access to additional milk volume and encourage product development to help grow the market for Canadian milk and milk products.
