  Its small footprint and multidirectional function facilitate seamless navigation through confined spaces and narrow aisles while transporting long and heavy loads, such as steel billets, metal bars, and other steel products. 
  
  Designed with operator comfort in mind, the Combi-CB 155E received the prestigious ‘Ergonomic Innovation of the Year’ award at the UKMHA last September. It features a spacious cab with floor-to-ceiling panoramic glass, providing exceptional visibility and safety for operators. One of its notable features is the Auto Swivel Seat, which automatically swivels 15 degrees to the left or right, depending on the travel direction. This innovation significantly reduces driver strain, particularly when reversing. 

  Furthermore, it incorporates Combilift’s independent electric traction system -previous Red Dot award winner- which provides 100% traction control for all front and rear drive wheels. This system eliminates the need for a differential lock on slippery surfaces, reduces load swing, and enhances safety and precision when transporting long, heavy loads, particularly when navigating sideways, regardless of ground conditions.

  The Combi-AGT is the world’s first autonomous Sideloader, with optional manual operation, designed for handling long loads in Very Narrow Aisles. - Don't miss out; see live demos at Combilift Booth #A2949!

  Ideal for steel service centers and metal industries, this 4-wheel electric stand-on model autonomously transports long steel loads up to 11,000lbs to various lift heights.  

  The units can receive drive orders directly from your WMS or dashboard, the truck's optimal route for placing/picking is calculated, and the Combi-AGT is dispatched to complete the task without an operator. 
  
  The Combi-AGT is equipped with advanced anti-collision laser safety system, as mandated by the American National Standards Institute. When the sensors detect an obstacle in the truck's path, the machine will automatically slow down and come to a stop in case of an emergency. Once the obstacle is no longer in the sensor's range, the Combi-AGT resumes operation automatically.   
  
  It also features a load dimension detection system, which operates by performing a laser scan of the load to check that its length matches the task sent to the machine. Similarly, when unloading, it checks that the rack in front has sufficient free space to accept the load. 

  In case of system downtime or power outages, trucks can be operated manually thanks to the dual operation functionality, keeping your operations running smoothly.

• Multidirectional forklifts to handle long loads of steel - Combilift (Jul 20, 2025)
  Combilift’s multidirectional forklift models, the C-Series and CB range, are designed to travel sideways, making them ideal for maneuvering tight spaces while handling long, bulky steel products like steel billets and bars. The sideways capability eliminates the need for overhead carrying while navigating narrow aisles and tight spaces, significantly reducing the risk of injury or collision, and, in turn, enhancing safety and space efficiency.  An additional safety feature is that these forklifts are built with a very low centre of gravity, allowing for a low-to-the-ground movement of your load.
  
  The Combilift C-Series range of multidirectional forklifts, with load capacities of up to 55,000 lbs, is designed to deliver the most productive, safe and reliable way to handle your long loads of steel. Robust and built to last, the C-Series operates as “three forklifts in one”-a sideloader, counterbalance, and narrow aisle forklift - replacing multiple types of trucks, which significantly reduces the fleet size required and eliminates time-consuming double handling, improving your workflow. 
  
  The Comb-CB range has a lifting capacity from 6,000 to 15,500 lbs.
