  • In industrial environments, safety is never optional. Wireless remote controls, like any electronic component used in machinery, must meet strict safety certifications to ensure reliable operation — especially when it comes to the emergency stop function.

Two of the most widely recognized international standards are EN ISO 13849-1 (Performance Level, PL) and EN 62061 (Safety Integrity Level, SIL). While PL applies to a wide range of safety systems — electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, or hydraulic — SIL is more specific, focusing on electronic and programmable solutions. Both standards measure the probability of dangerous failures and define how reliable a system must be to protect operators and equipment.

In practice, PL is rated from “a” (lowest) to “e” (highest). For many industrial applications — from cranes and material handling, to welding automation and heavy vehicles — the minimum recommended level is PLc, with higher-risk environments requiring PLd or PLe. At Tele Radio, many of our wireless control systems exceed these requirements, with products such as the Tiger range reaching PLe certification.

    Why does this matter?
Because compliance isn’t just about ticking boxes. It’s about ensuring operators can work confidently, knowing their tools are backed by safety levels that are tested and proven. Across industries like fabrication, welding, and material handling, this translates into fewer risks, less downtime, and safer worksites.

With more than 70 years of global experience in wireless control, Tele Radio combines proven reliability with local US support. We work closely with OEMs and integrators to ensure our solutions fit seamlessly into their equipment while meeting the latest safety standards.

✅ Choosing Tele Radio means choosing remote controls that don’t just meet industry requirements — they go beyond them, protecting your people, your equipment, and your business.

  • In fabrication and welding environments, precision and safety are critical. Whether it’s handling heavy steel components, positioning welding fixtures, or operating cranes and lifting equipment, operators need control solutions that are both reliable and intuitive.

This is where wireless remote control makes a real difference. By moving operators away from wired panels and into safer positions, remotes provide not only greater flexibility but also improved visibility of the task at hand. From overhead cranes moving sheets of steel to welding tables that need exact positioning, wireless control ensures accuracy without compromising safety.

Tele Radio offers a wide range of remote systems tailored to these demanding applications. With features like long battery life, rugged IP-rated housings, and certified emergency stop functions, our solutions are built for industrial environments where uptime and operator protection are top priorities.

Integration is straightforward — whether your equipment uses simple relay signals or advanced protocols such as CANopen or SAE J1939, Tele Radio receivers can connect seamlessly. That means less installation time, fewer complications, and a control system that fits into your workflow from day one.

Tiger – High Performance & Safety

The Tiger line is built for demanding applications where safety and precision come first. With features like PLd/PLe-certified emergency stop functions, proportional control, and support for protocols such as CANopen and SAE J1939, Tiger is the perfect match for fabrication equipment that requires reliability under tough conditions.

Panther – Flexible & Easy to Integrate

The Panther series is known for its versatility. Compact receivers and straightforward installation make it ideal for retrofits or OEM integration. Whether your system requires simple relay outputs or more advanced connections, Panther ensures quick setup and dependable operation across a wide range of industrial equipment.

TEQ Line – Compact and Adaptable Solutions

The TEQ Line brings together three compact yet powerful families: PrimaTEQ, VersaTEQ, and SupraTEQ. Designed for ergonomics and flexibility, these transmitters provide operators with safe and comfortable control options for different industrial tasks. From waist transmitters to advanced customizable solutions, the TEQ Line offers adaptability without sacrificing durability or reliability.

With more than 70 years of experience in wireless control and a strong local presence in the US, Tele Radio supports OEMs, integrators, and end users across the fabrication and welding industries. Our goal is simple: to help you work smarter, safer, and with complete confidence in the reliability of your equipment.

✅ For fabrication and welding operations, Tele Radio remote controls are more than a convenience — they’re an investment in safety, efficiency, and long-term reliability.

  • On-site training with Tele Radio: Support where you need it

At Tele Radio, we know that every work environment is different. That’s why we offer on-site training sessions directly at our customers’ facilities. Our goal is to ensure that teams fully understand how our wireless remote control systems work and feel confident using them.

During these sessions, our specialists don’t just demonstrate the main functions of the systems — they also listen, answer questions, and adapt the training to the customer’s real operational needs. This makes every session practical, relevant, and focused on day-to-day use.

    Why choose on-site training

While manuals and remote assistance are helpful, nothing compares to a hands-on session. On-site training allows you to:

    • Learn in your own environment, with your machinery and working conditions.

    • Resolve questions on the spot, with clear explanations tailored to your team.

    • Build confidence faster, reducing the learning curve and ensuring safe use from day one.

    Always close to our customers

Our training sessions reflect what sets us apart: staying close to our customers. Whether it’s training, assistance, or simply being available to answer questions, our commitment is to provide the support you need to keep your operations running safely and efficiently.

With more than 70 years of experience and a strong presence in the US, Tele Radio combines global expertise with local service. For us, nothing is more valuable than seeing operators use our solutions with confidence.

  • Still tethered by pendant controls? At FABTECH 2025, Tele Radio will showcase how making the shift to wireless remote control systems can transform safety, efficiency, and flexibility in fabrication, welding, and material handling.

    Why go wireless?

Pendant controls have long been the standard, but they come with limitations: cables wear out, mobility is restricted, and operators are often forced to stand too close to the equipment they’re controlling. Wireless remotes eliminate these issues, allowing operators to work from safer positions, reduce downtime, and gain full freedom of movement.

    The advantages are clear:

    • Operator safety – greater distance from moving loads and hazardous areas.

    • Better visibility – position yourself where you see the work best.

    • Reduced downtime – no cables to break or replace.

    • Easy integration – Tele Radio systems connect seamlessly to both new and existing equipment.

    Tele Radio: proven solutions

With more than 70 years of experience in wireless control, Tele Radio provides rugged, reliable solutions trusted worldwide. Our product ranges, including Tiger, Panther, and the TEQ Line, offer the right fit for applications of all sizes — from simple relay-based systems to advanced CANopen and SAE J1939 integrations.

Wireless doesn’t just replace the pendant. It redefines how operators interact with machinery, creating safer worksites and more efficient processes.
