  • The new “AKK” welding line has set new standards in mesh production. This new, innovative design eliminates all idle times and at least doubles productivity in comparison to conventional welding lines. All advantages from off-coil and pre-cut welding machines and more, are combined in one machine. The “AKK” Series are capable of producing large and small batches-orders consecutively without any downtime. The concept behind the AKK series allows automatic mesh spacing & dimensions changes, making it the only flexible high production coil-fed mesh welding line, as it can produce all mesh types instantly without any adjustments. Also, it offers a compact system layout requiring minimum floor space requirements

    Equipped with the PATENTED “Automatic Wire Orientation System”, which allows the use of a high speed roller straightening module for line wire feeding. The “AWOS” absorbs all wire straightening imperfections from the roller straightener. This unique Automatic Wire Orientation System ensures perfectly flat mesh panels regardless of wire and straightening quality. It is fully programmable and capable of processing all types of material, smooth or ribbed.

    A Single coil replaces all line wire de-coiling stations, where a double line & cross wire de-coiling station ensures continuous operation.

    As a result to the above, minimal stock of wire spools and coils required and the necessity for large stock of ready mesh as in conventional welding lines is eliminated.

    Furthermore, multiple diameter changes during one day/shift can be achieved efficiently due to single coil line wire feeding

    The AKK series are equipped with independent heavy duty hydraulic or pneumatically operated welding heads. Due to programmable cross wire placement, different cross wire spacing is possible within the same mesh. Mesh advancing either through a servo-driven carrier offering exceptional accuracy, or through a compact layout servo-driven roller feeder. The in-line mesh turning and collection table is equipped with adjustable mesh aligning flaps for perfect mesh batches. Roller or laterally discharging chain conveyors with height adjustment and in-line mesh bundling stations are available. Remote access via Internet connection for troubleshooting and routine maintenance.

    The EUROBEND machines, equipped with high end innovative features, sophisticated electronics, computer software and hardware with a unique redundant memory system for eliminating the possibility of production down times due to hard disk defects or data losses and an interface for exchanging production data using various industrial formats (such as “BVBS”, “UNITECHNIK” etc.) are easy to operate and due to the thoughtful modular design easy to maintain.

    FLEXIBLE MESH WELDING LINES FOR THE PRODUCTION OF CUSTOMIZED MESH AND MESH WITH OPENINGS

    Production of standard mesh, customized mesh and mesh with openings
    The production of standard mesh, customized mesh and special mesh with openings is covered by the unique high-end CNC programmable mesh welding line PL XY ESP working from pre-cut bars (patent).

    It produces mesh with maximum diameter up to Ø20mm for both, line and cross wires. The PL XY is equipped with either one or two moving welding blocks, achieving up to 400 welding points per minute. The produced mesh can have min. line wire spacing of 50 mm (and above, in steps of 50 mm) and min. cross wire spacing of 50 mm (above infinitely programmable) for all diameters. Any mesh with the above characteristics can be produced instantly, one type after the other, without any adjustments. Everything is controlled by the machine’s computer program.

    The line wires are fed manually into pre-selected grippers who are mounted on a carrier. The carrier, then, inserts automatically the line wires into the welding machine and returns to the start-up position for reloading, while the machine welds the mesh. Each gripper is equipped with a led-light, facilitating the line-wire feeding. This system eliminates practically the idle time between two meshes produced.

    A secondary feeding system on the line wire carrier enables the production of mesh with variable line wire lengths within the same (material saving mesh) or mesh with openings.

    The cross wires are fed into the welding line automatically from a cross wire feeder. A secondary cross wire feeding and positioning system enables the production of mesh with variable cross wire lengths and mesh with openings. In this case a second auxiliary display facilitates the feeding of the special cross wire lengths.


    The produced mesh is removed automatically through a mesh stacking and roller conveyor system.

    Production of the pre-cut bars
    Next to the mesh welding line, an independently operated multi rotor straightening and cutting machine of the MELC Flexiline series using EUROBEND’s 4G rotor with hyperbolically profiled rollers and our patented wire convergence guiding system ensure perfect straightening and length accuracies and allow diameter changes in 2-3 seconds without any moving mechanical parts produces just-in-time or according to the day’s production schedule the needed pre-cut bars in the requested diameters.

    The extreme fast diameter changing system offers the unique possibility to produce one after the other the pre-cut bars for each mesh in a batch. The bars are delivered to a pocket chain conveyor, each pocket receiving the bars for each mesh.

    Thus the material handling, storage and logistics issues are simplified guarantying personnel and investment savings.

    The combination of the unmatched flexibility offered by the PL XY Twin welding machine, together with the straightening superiority and the diameter changes within seconds of the MELC FLEXILINE Rotor Straightening & Cutting machine, is the first and most economic choice for all mesh producing factories for the just-in-time production of standard and customized mesh and mesh with openings for all pre-cast applications.

    The Eurobend AMM machine works from coil and offers the highest flexibility at a very high level of automation without any changeover times. A number of innovations and unique design features make the AMM to one of the leading models on the market:
    » Any type of mesh can be produced automatically, immediately and without changeover and idle times.
    » The line and cross wires are fed into the welding portal immediately by two separate Flexiline rotor straightening and cutting machines, featuring the patented Eurobend maintenance-free 5G rotors each with eight hyperbolic rollers and with extremely
    fast diameter changing system. The diameter changeover takes place in less than 3 seconds without any mechanical moving parts.
    » Direct feeding of the cross wires into the welding portal: The complicated, maintenance intensive and susceptible common cross wire feeding systems, where the cross wires have to be produced first and then the longitudinal wires, as it is the case in the lines with
    one straightening machine, are no longer necessary. 
    » Thanks to the innovative concept, the AMM machine is the most compact on the market and has a minimal floor space demand. The AMM is equipped with a state of the art precision bending system consisting of two integrated, in-line universal bending modules for bending individually selected line and cross wires, even within openings. The special design, the servo-driven operation together with the advanced and modern software makes them technically sophisticated in this industry sector. They are characterized by highest precision and speed. Two bends are performed in 2.5 seconds with consistently precise bending geometry.

    The AMM has the capability to connect to master computer for the “Just-In-Time” production, synchronized with circulating pallet systems. Another feature is the avoidance of idle times during production: during the bending process of one mesh the next one is already in progress
