• A Sustainable Future with Our Solar Energy Investment (Jun 27, 2025)
   In line with our vision of energy efficiency and environmental sustainability, we have commissioned a solar energy system with an installed capacity of 4,703 kWp, consisting of 8,550 panels each with a capacity of 550 W. With this comprehensive investment, we aim to generate over 5 million kWh of electricity annually and prevent more than 2,000 tons of carbon emissions.
   A portion of the electricity generated by the system is utilized to meet the energy needs of our own production facilities, while the surplus
  is sold to the national grid.
   Through this renewable energy investment, we not only aim to reduce our energy costs but also to decrease our dependency on external energy sources by generating our own electricity. At the same time, we target significant long-term savings.

• Empowering Women, Strengthening the Future (Jun 27, 2025)
   At Gedik Education Foundation, we believe that sustainable development and social progress are only possible through the active participation of women in economic and public life. Guided by this belief, we continue to support women through vocational training programs that enable them to acquire professional skills and take part in the workforce.
  
   As part of our welder training programs designed specifically for women, participants receive both theoretical instruction and hands on practice in our welding workshop, where they are trained in TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding. This comprehensive approach equips them with both technical knowledge and practical skills, enhancing their professional qualifications.
  With their determination and perseverance throughout the training process, these women inspire us and reinforce our hope for a brighter,
  more equitable future.

• GeKa Copper Free Welding Wires (Jun 27, 2025)
   GeKa Copper Free welding wires produced at Gedik Kaynak Sakarya Hendek Facilities can be preferred by end users due to the advantages they provide compared to standard copper coated welding wires.
  
   The amount of smoke produced from uncoated wire when welding is approximately 20% less than the amount of smoke produced from coppercoated wire. In short, this means that being in an environment where we weld with this type of welding wire is much less dangerous for the health of the welder. In addition, low spatter directly affects the quality of the weld and allows highperformance welding.
  
  Thanks to the stable wire feed during welding in GeKa Copper Free welding wires, a stable wire feed can be maintained for long periods of time even at high welding speeds, resulting in higher welding and deposition rates.
  
  One disadvantage of the coating on coppercoated welding wires is that it increases the contact nozzle consumption during welding By using wires without copper coating, this consumption is reduced, allowing production at lower operating costs.
  
  We can say that Copper Free welding wires are more environmentally friendly than conventional copper coated welding wires due to their
  production processes and the low amount of by products produced during welding.
