  • Temposonics proudly introduces the new G-Series V, the fifth-generation sensor series that combines the trusted durability of the original G-Series with the advanced mechanical design of the R-Series V platform.

    Engineered for enhanced performance, the G-Series V retains the robust characteristics that have made the G-Series a benchmark in industrial environments. Now featuring backward compatibility for digital (PWM and Start/Stop) and analog outputs, it enables seamless upgrades for existing systems - offering improved results without compromising on integration ease.

    A standout enhancement of the new series is its increased vibration resistance - now up to 30g - which is standard in the base sensor model. This makes it particularly well-suited for demanding environments such as lumber or metal processing, where components must withstand intense vibration and heavy shock. Its rugged and modular mechanical design allows for easy replacement of the sensing element and electronics without breaking the cylinder‘s high pressure seal. This not only prevents leaks from the cylinder port, but also significantly reduces maintenance costs and downtime.

    Another key advantage is its compatibility with the TempoLink® Smart Assistant, enabling faster and more intuitive configuration than ever before. Users can easily connect via a mobile device to adjust sensor settings on the go. While each sensor is factory-configured with optimal default settings, the G-Series V offers the flexibility to adapt seamlessly to changing application requirements.

    The G-Series V is available in both profile and rod versions with analog and digital outputs (PWM and Start/Stop).

    At the heart of every Temposonics sensor lies our proprietary magnetostrictive technology. The core component - a magnetostrictive waveguide, developed and manufactured in-house - enables contactless measurement with no mechanical wear. This ensures a long sensor life, outstanding reliability, and maintenance-free operation. Since the sensors output absolute position values, there is no need for recalibration after a power outage or system restart.
