Software for Die Design, Flattening, and Simulation
Accurate Die Design Software, Inc. is the North American Reseller and Technical & Training Center for LogoPress die design software.
LogoPress has been developing die design software since 1989 for the tool & die industry. LogoPress is an add-in for SOLIDWORKS CAD and can be used for various steps of the die design process to assist with quoting, flattening, strip nesting, strip layout creation, die design, punch nesting, drawing creation, and even motion and forming simulations.
LogoPress includes many functions to help with complex design elements. Flatten out formed parts in stages or unbend parts progressively with the ability to quickly represent springback and partial unbends. Automate the geometry of your cutting punches and forming punches, with these being linked to your strip layout. With the entire die design being parametric, changes you make to the original part will be reflected in the strip layout with punches, plates, and drawings updating to the new design. This also allows LogoPress to give up-to-date information on the die, including estimated forming forces, scrap percentages, spring forces, and force centers, along with an organized BOM automatically created with each section of the die separated and purchased parts called out.
Reduce time spent on the die design by automating many processes with various functions and tools inside of LogoPress. After specifying the geometry of the part for each station, have the entire strip layout created automatically using your strip progression input and include any idle stations as desired. Have all clearance holes for punches, slugs, and inserts made automatically. Insert purchased parts from a component library populated by parts from dozens of suppliers, consisting of fasteners, lifters, standard punches, guide posts, springs, and pilots. While creating the die, drawing files for all parts are automatically created with views, title block, and dimensions populated.
Utilize LogoPress to find issues on the computer before getting to the tryout press. When dealing with complex forms, get a first look at stress, strain, or any thinning predicted for the final part. For round draw components, LogoPress can create all stations needed to achieve the final part geometry using forming calculations to automatically control K-factors of each station. Simulate further with LogoPress DIE DEBUGGER™, a motion simulation tool that includes dynamic interference detection to help debug dies virtually. Fully simulate your part in each forming station by using LogoPress ProgSim to find failing areas in your part, identify springback, and develop punches to make sure you produce parts in tolerance and reduce the time needed on the shop floor.
