The Advanced Handling System revolutionizes mid to large format bending with a radically new approach to gauged part manipulation. The dynamic combination of Automatic Tool Change, Up and Down bending, and automated part manipulation fully automates the entire bending process. Parts as little as 9-3/4” x 11-3/4”, up to 5’ x 12’, with depths up to 20”, make the UD ATC AHS the most flexible automated bending solution on the market. The AHS is a 5-axis gauge system, traversing the part at speeds up to 950 IPM, and rotating through the bending process at 180° per second. Taper parts, drain pans, slope panels, are all easily formed in a fully automated mode. For parts requiring high accuracies and corner fit, two hi-resolution cameras compare the part against CAD data, and automatically corrects for any positioning error. Safe operation is assured via automated side doors that raise and lower for part load/unload, rear light curtains, and front safety cage. 

The Böckelt Tower offers more than simple sheet storage. This intelligent solution tracks raw goods, allows for rapid material delivery, stores and tracks your WIP and post manufactured goods.
