Global leader in air filtration solutions to demonstrate technologies to efficiently protect metalworkers form the harmful effects of thermally generated fumes at North America’s largest metal forming, fabricating, welding and finishing event.
Nederman, a global leader in industrial air filtration technology, will exhibit and demonstrate its weld and thermal fume extraction solutions for sound, safe and efficient metal fabrication and cutting at the FABTECH 2019 in Chicago, Illinois. Located in booth #B31074, Nederman will display its vast range of fume extraction capabilities designed to deliver cleaner air for the welding and thermal cutting industry.
Nederman will introduce the new generation of its FMC Dust Collector ideal for safely handling fume and dust associated with multi-source metal fabrication processes. The new FMC will feature:
· A proprietary cartridge filter design, including nanofiber filter media
· Easy filter maintenance
· An enhanced cleaning system that increases system capacity, decreases emissions and reduces operational costs
· Classifications: EN 60335-2-69 Dust Class M and ASHRAE 52.2-MERV 15
· Industry 4.0 ready - featuring smart components and controls capable of monitoring the collector performance through Nederman Insight: cloud-based, filtration specific IIoT solution.
For single arc or flexible workstation solutions, Nederman will display its portable and compact fume, dust extractors and its industry leading extraction arms. Nederman’s portable weld fume collector FilterBox has been upgraded with new nanofiber filter media technology that surface loads dust and smoke more efficiently, resulting in higher overall production efficiency, due to improved cleaning, maintenance and filter life. Numerous sizes and styles of Nederman extractor arms will also be on display, specially designed for working environments with heavy smoke, fumes and dust for companies of all sizes.
The Nederman FlexPAK hi-vacuum dust collection system suitable for on-torch fume extraction, machine tools, composite, metal working and combustible dust applications will be also be on-display including a live on-torch fume extraction demonstration. The FlexPak is now available with sensor packages and controls to support IIoT customer needs through Nederman Insight.
Nederman will have interactive demonstrations of its newest industrial filtration monitoring technology Insight. Nederman Insight provides manufacturers with a view of their air filtration system performance – in real time. In addition to a robust dashboard providing visualization of key system metrics, Nederman Insight features auto-generated alerts and notifications bringing attention to system anomalies before they disrupt manufacturing processes; enabling manufacturers to address root causes and establish maintenance programs.
