  • FASPAR robot for automated setup of the cutting tooling will be launched as latest news at FABTECH 2019.

    FASPAR is investing intensively in R&D and is launching the innovative robot for fully automated setup of the cutting tooling on slitting lines. It is a 5 axis cartesian robot with a patented gripper which can handle tools even from 1mm thickness, patented automatic edge control reader for sharpeness and cracks, integrated automatic washing machine (both by ultrasonic and soap). More and more customer, in particular service centers, are interested in this new innovative product.

  • Since 1966, FASPAR S.p.A. is an important machine builder in Milan area (Italy) and it is a well-known company for producing complete coil processing lines.

    The product range of FASPAR is composed of: Slitting lines and packaging lines, Robot for automatic handling of  toolings in Slitting line, Leveling and Straightening lines, Cut-to-Length lines(feeder, flying and rotary shear), Blanking lines, Surface finishing lines (brushing, polishing, painting), Feeding and Pressing and Punching lines, Tension leveling lines, Processing lines (degreasing, color coating), Embossing lines.

    Despite this various range of different products, FASPAR is mainly recognised by producing cutting lines, like SLITTING and CUT-To-LENGTH lines.

    On the one hand, FASPAR’s SLITTING LINE can be composed of: motorized loading/unloading coil car, motorized decoiler with hydraulic front support, motorized paper winder/unwinder, automatic alignment control system, pinch-roll, straightener machine, introduction table, shear for longitudinal cutting (slitter), scrap conveyor, scrap baller, recoiler/decoiler, turnstile with arms, carousel for blades, deflector, braking motorized cart,general plants (pneumatic, hydraulic and electric), teleservice for online assistance, safety fences, etc.

    Clearly not all these parts have to belong to the line – some of them can be optionals required or not by the customer. Some common optionals are: PVC applicator, automatic blade locking system, air conditioning system, 2nd head and edge trimming head.

    Technical data of the SLITTING LINE:

    • width from 300 to 2200 mm
    • coils capacity is from 5 to 40 Ton
    • speed up to 500m/min
    • thickness from 0,04 to 20mm.

    On the other hand, FASPAR’s CUT-TO-LENGTH LINE can be composed of: loading/lifting coil car, decoiler, introduction table, motorized pinch-rolls, stacking unit, levelling with rolls, rotary or flying shear, general plants (pneumatic, hydraulic, electric), teleservice, etc. The most common optionals in a CTL are: additional sleeves, straightening machine, hydraulic crop shear with scrap box, felt cleaning device, air conditioning system and rotation system for rotary shear.

    Technical data of the LEVELING CUT-TO-LENGTH LINE:

    • width from 300 to 2200 mm
    • coils capacity from 5 to 40 Ton
    • productivity up to 200 sheet/min
    • thickness from 0,20 to 20mm.

    Unfortunately, it is not easy to indicate a complete and exact composition of the cutting line because products are highly customized and the features of the line depend on the customer’s requirements.

    FASPAR's team works in order to meet the customer’s needs in the best way possible. FASPAR people are able to listen to the customer and offer him the customized solutions satisfying his needs, increasing the production, facilitating and optimizing the works.

  • Robot for automatic handling of cutting tooling
    Robot for automated setup of cutting tooling in Slitting line is a 5 axis cartesian robot with a patented gripper, which can handle tools even from 1 mm thickness, with patented automatic edge control reader for sharpeness and integrated washing machine....
     

  • Robot for automatic handling of cutters and spacers improves the slitting line efficiency by elimination strenous manual set-up work, reducing labour costs and risk of set-up errors.

    The robot is fully integrated (robot and magazine) - this guarantees close dimensional tolerances, since the cutters and spacers are stored under dry and dust-free conditions. 

    The robot is PC controlled using customized programs, in which the operator is given the option of controlling selected parts of the process.

    Since the robot has a station for interim storage of a complete set-up, there are no interruptions  for partial transfers of cutters and spacers to or from the turnstile.

    There are two types: Tower and Tunnel and each robot type is composed of:
