  Verisurf Software announced today it has appointed Jeff Long to the position of Sales Engineer in the South-Central Region.  Jeff will work closely with Verisurf regional sales managers to best serve the inspection and measurement needs of customers.

  Jeff comes to Verisurf with broad knowledge and an understanding of manufacturing, machining, and quality processes.  With hands on experience in detail and assembly level inspection of aerospace structures, jig and fixture building, working with CAD and drawings, combined with a background of repairing and maintaining portable and fixed CMMs, Jeff provides Verisurf customers a knowledge-based perspective and added value.

  Improves Accuracy and Reduces Inspection Cycle Time by 3X

  Verisurf Software, Inc. announced device support for the Renishaw PH20, 5-axis probe-head.  Verisurf customers running the PH20 currently or planning to retrofit their CNC CMMs will realize the power of Verisurf automated inspection software with the full potential of 5-axis probing. Inspection cycle times are reduced by as much as 3X when probing in 5-axis, compared to traditional indexing heads, without sacrificing accuracy.
