PATCO® is an engineered solution that enables customers to achieve their fast-paced prototype and low volume manufacturing activities of their programs to gain certification and get to market faster, for less cost. As a pre-engineered solution, with customization only for meeting the engineering intent, the design and build of a PATCO® solution can be completed within weeks, not months. The ease of PATCO® assembly does not mean customer’s must sacrifice their GD&T, as PATCO® can hold positional tolerances of +/- 0.002 and true position tolerances of +/- 0.005. But the ease of PATCO® assembly does allow our customers to better manage the changes within their product lifecycle by simply making modifications in hours with a 5/16” hex key wrench or, in extreme cases, Sharp can design, build, and ship an entirely new unit in 2-3 days to support build activities. Since Sharp warehouses PATCO® products on-site it generates flexibility in our customer’s procurement strategy that best fits the need of the program. If a tool string is needed for a short run to validate a manufacturing process, a lease strategy can be offered so the program is not burdened with an asset only used for a limited amount of time. PATCO® can also be procured through lease-to-own or simply purchased to match the needs and budget of your program.
