University of Hawaii Press
Celebrating its 75th year, University of Hawai‘i Press publishes books and journals on the Asia and Pacific regions, covering the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences. Subject areas include anthropology, history, religion, language, literature, art and architecture, culture, ethnomusicology, among others. In addition to a growing list of more than 3,000 book titles, we publish or distribute twenty-five scholarly journals reflecting regional and international focuses in these same subjects; and we serve as a book distributor for dozens of publishing partners. UH Press has an especially distinguished list in Asian studies and is recognized as a leader in the fields of Buddhist studies and Southeast Asian studies. Our best-selling Integrated Korean language-learning series is adopted for courses worldwide and we strive to advance with new open-access content, e-books, and digital archives.
For book proposals, please see our Author Guidelines (https://uhpress.hawaii.edu/authors/) for more information and the focus areas of our Asian studies acquisition editors, Stephanie Chun and Masako Ikeda.
