The Office of International Programs at the University of Illinois College of Education provides academic and professional learning experiences for practicing teachers, including specialized online Master's and Doctoral programs as well as "Global Fieldwork" study abroad opportunities. Engage with College of Education faculty on topics of global education policy through our renowned online learning platforms, or join a study abroad program with other practicing teachers and education students to immerse yourself in classrooms around the world.
Our Global Fieldwork study abroad programs are designed to enhance global consiousness through interactive projects and activities with classrooms around the world. Each program offers teachers and students the opportunity to see first-hand the insides of local classrooms, experience their educational and cultural environments, and collaborate with teachers on-site. We encourage educators to apply for our Global Intersection Fellowship for Teachers (GIFT) scholarship, which offers up to $1,500 in study abroad funding.
