Middlebury Language Schools offers summer immersion programs from beginning to advanced levels in 13 languages for students ages 18-80+. Programs (6-8 weeks) are available in Abenaki, Arabic, Chinese, English, French, German, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish & Russian. With 100 years of experience, small classes, in-language activities, 24/7 Language Pledge, students gain fluency and earn college credits in a short period of time.

Middlebury Language Schools students can also apply to earn their master's degree over a series of summers (6-weeks each) or one or two summers and a year abroad/online in Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Hebrew, Italian, Spanish & Russian. Need-based financial aid and merit scholarships are available for both the immersion and graduate programs.

Middlebury also offers undergraduate abroad programs and graduate programs at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey (MIIS).

  Both our summer immersion programs and graduate programs have need-based financial aid and merit-based scholarships. Students can receive up to full funding to attend Middlebury for a summer or earn their graduate degree!
