The EPILEPSY QUIZ –A-DAY is designed to reinforce the American Epilepsy Society’s role as a leader in the professional development and training of epilepsy clinicians and researchers, while adding an element of fun, energy, and excitement to the 2025 AES meeting.

The game will involve once-per-day clinical questions emailed to both AES members and AES meeting registrants.

Quiz questions will involve a brief case presentation or diagnostic scenario (e.g., an EEG reading) that is drawn from self-assessment questions reviewed and approved by the appropriate AES committee. Each presentation or scenario will include one quick clinical question, which the respondent can answer through the email. No patient identifying information will be included in the presentation or scenario or the questions.

The EPILEPSY QUIZ-A-DAY will be short and highly focused to keep the attention of the “players.” The QUIZ-A-DAY will start two days before the start of the AES meeting. It will continue over the five days of the meeting and will conclude one day after the meeting is finished—for a total of eight days.

Depending on the number of players who have perfect scores or seven or eight of eight correct, AES will announce the first names of the top scorers.

Players who do not play every day will be have a chance to answer unplayed questions so they can catch up. A deadline will be clearly indicated.
