For more than 65 years, SNMMI has successfully followed a mission of educating professionals, policy makers and the general public about the potential of nuclear medicine. Advances in molecular biology, molecular medicine and medical imaging have signaled an expansion in the direction of the profession and its ability to contribute to improved health outcomes, requiring SNMMI leaders to examine the society's long-range future.
With more than 15,000 members across the globe, SNMMI represents the interests of nuclear and molecular imaging professionals, all of whom are committed to the advancement of the field. We develop and provide educational materials, aid our members in their professional development and continuing education requirements, keep our members current on the latest news, developments, and advancements within the practice, and lobby on state and national levels to ensure our members can provide the best possible care to patients.
