Kaiser Permanente Mental Health Training Programs

  • Booth: 902

The Kaiser Permanente Training Programs in Northern California provide comprehensive training to over 70 postdoctoral residents, 13 doctoral interns and 30 practicum students each year.  Kaiser Permanente’s postdoctoral residency programs play a vital role in the overall healthcare delivery system of the largest HMO in the United States.

Health care, as envisioned by Kaiser Permanente, is an integrated system, and each training site provides a full range of services to a broad range of patients. Each site has psychologists working in various departments including Mental Health, Chronic Pain, Addiction Medicine and Behavioral Medicine. Providers from specialty areas work together to provide integrated treatment.

Training Programs outside of Northern California include Southern California, Colorado, the Northwest (Oregon/Washington), Georgia and Hawaii.
