U.S. EPA Water Infrastructure and Cyber Resilience Division
The Water Infrastructure and Cyber Resilience Division (WICRD), formerly the Water Security Division, has been working to help utilities protect drinking water and wastewater infrastructure since the passage of the Bioterrorism Act of 2002 and has developed over 40 resources and tools to help utilities handle all hazards. WICRD is responsible for carrying out EPA’s role as the Sector Risk Management Agency for drinking water and wastewater systems.
