The hunts at Davis Quail are highly personalized and organized in small groups. There’s an abundance of birds thanks to the year-around quail habitat management combined with a pre-release bird program. Clients of Davis Quail regularly comment, “The quail hunting here reminds me of the wild quail hunting when I was a child”. The birds fly hard and fast; your shooting abilities will be tested.

At the end of an amazing day, you will relax in the warm, secluded lodge with accommodations for six overnight guests. Jeff, the owner and operator of this destination, enjoys two exclusive guide areas in unit 12 in the Wrangell-St. Elias National Park & Preserve and in area unit 9 in the Katmai National Park & Preserve on the Alaska Peninsula. He is the only outfitter allowed to guide in these areas. As a responsible conservationist, Jeff and his team treat the land responsibly as if it was their own and manage the game so it will flourish. Hunts are one-on-one (unless requested otherwise) and fully guided with registered guides.

At base camp they have a large Weatherport tent for the cook shack and 10×10 Bomb shelter tents that sleep two people. When sheep hunting, you stay in small 1-3 men pup tents. When moose hunting, you stay in Bomb shelters, wall tents, a cabin, or Arctic Oven, depending on the location.

Not for the faint of heart, an Alaska Moose hunt or Dall Sheep hunt will challenge even the most accomplished hunter. This varies from client to client, but if you come in great shape and can shoot well, you will have a great chance at filling your tag. Usually it is 75-95% depending on the species.

There are two critical reasons we like this owner operated small Alaskan outfitter so much. First, the enormous amount of pre-hunt scouting he does from the air and on the ground prior to your arrival. As a result your first camp location will be where they have seen good activity, not a randomly selected spot. 

Second, he is willing to fly you to a new camp location if things are not going as well as expected. This willingness to move you to another camp can be a vital part of your hunt’s success. Several of our clients have been moved resulting in their success.

They hunt trophy brown bears in the beautiful Wood-Tichik State Park, which is the largest state park in North America. They only take 2-4 trophy moose hunters per year to ensure the best possible trophies.

Spring Brown Bear hunts are conducted on snowmobiles and clients are lodged in a very comfortable remote cabin with hot showers and homemade meals. This is an extremely high success adventure hunt when the weather cooperates! Spring trophy bears tend to have a better coat and success on larger bears between 9 – 10 feet is very possible. 

Needless to say, coming back to a warm shower, hot meals and a warm bed each night is a huge bonus. This hunt is extremely weather dependent and having flexibility in your schedule is critical.  When the snow is great, access by snowmobile is equally fantastic.

Cordoba Province is set in the heart of Argentina. The mild climate, extensive agriculture, and perfect roosting conditions produce an ever-increasing population of doves. These attributes of the area create the best dove hunting in the world.

These Patgonia hunting properties hold the world’s third largest population of Pere David’s deer. It is the only place in the world where the deer can be hunted free range.

Hunters who prefer to use a bow are welcome. Many trophy animals have been taken with a bow & arrow because of the number of animals, low hunting pressure, and cover.
