What makes our lodge unique? The proximity to the excellent fishing grounds for starters. We are the closest fishing lodge in Panama to the offshore action at Hannibal Bank and Isla Montuosa. Also, the remoteness of our tropical island paradise makes the lodge a self-contained hideaway….no other lodge in the region can say that! We are completely “off the grid” and located inside Panama’s Gulf of Chiriqui National Marine Park. The Paridas Archipielago is a scattering of over 25 nationally protected tropical islands and our lodge is smack dab in the center! No roads, no stores…just a tropical jungle island paradise.
A thirty minute boat ride (12 miles) from Boca Chica, and a one hour ride from David’s port of Pedregal, brings you to the largest island in the chain…Isla Paridas. Beautiful white sand and palm tree lined beaches await your exploration. Our Panama sport fishing lodge overlooks the Pacific Ocean. You’ll see turtles, schools of bait fish, and migrating whales. Snorkeling, beach combing, bird watching, ocean kayaking, or just hanging out at the lodge will provide endless days of activities for those not fishing.
Lodge Accommodations
Even with the island’s location and complete isolation, our offshore sport fishing lodge offers all of the modern comforts. Included are: air conditioning, hot water showers, ice machines, solar and diesel generated power, purified water, and free high speed WiFi Internet service. The luxurious accommodations of our two and three bedroom guest houses also include: outdoor showers, tropical hard wood built furniture, sofas, flat screen TVs, stereo system, ceiling fans, and fully stocked beverage refrigerators. Daily laundry service is also available upon request.

Does the Lodge Have Wifi? Yes! We have free WiFi Internet service available through out the entire lodge and within all our private guest houses.
How Many Rooms are There? We have 3 private very comfortable guest houses with a total of eight bedrooms here at the lodge. There are two 3 bedroom guest houses and one 2 bedroom guest houses that all have magnificent views of the ocean. All of our guest houses have Air Conditioning, Hot Water, high speed WiFi Internet service and all the convenient modern amenities such as a big screen TV, stocked cold beverage refrigerator, and fully stocked wet bar!
Is There Cell Phone Reception? We have very limited cell phone reception as we are located 12 miles off of the mainland. We do however have excellent Internet service provided by our special remote internet tower. If you need to make a call we can arrange, free of charge, for you to call anywhere internationally through our internet service.
What Other Activities are Available in the Lodge? Activities other than fishing could include….We have 8 very nice Kayaks that are great for exploring around the island here and take trips to the many tiny islands within the park. Bring your snorkeling equipment as we have some great areas here in front of the lodge that are good for diving for lobsters, conch, or just checking out the sea life. You can hike around from beach to beach through the numerous jungle trails here on the island. Or take a half mile hike over to the next white sand beach where the local bar is. Lots of ground and area to cover here definitely a great area if you're into exploring nature.
Is There Laundry Service? Yes! We have a simple daily laundry service that is included.
What time is breakfast, lunch and dinner? We have coffee and tea service each morning beginning at 5:30 AM. Breakfast is served at 6:30 AM in the dining room. Lunches are provided on your boat daily. We serve appetizers for ‘happy hour’ each day just after we get back from fishing (usually around 4:30 PM) on the terrace in front of the lodge. Then around 7:30 PM we have our ‘over the top’ dinners served buffet style in the dining room. If you have any food allergies or special dietary needs please let us know via email before your trip and be sure to let Chef Eddie know as well upon your arrival.
Do you Serve Alcohol?
Yes! Soft drinks, bottled water, beer, and alcohol are all included! At our bar we stock local Abuelo brand rum, Absolute Vodka, Jack Daniel’s whiskey, Johnny Walker Black scotch, 1800 tequila, Tanqueray gin, a wide selection of South American white & red wines, and cold Panama beer. If you or someone in your group have a specific alcohol or drink preference just let us know and I we be sure to accommodate you.
Do you Accommodate Food Allergies? What if I’m a Vegetarian? Yes!We accommodate all dietary needs. All of our gourmet appetizers, “over the top” meals, and lunches served on the boats are prepared by Chef Eddie. Be sure and let us know, via email, what your dietary needs are before you arrive and Chef Eddie will be more than happy to accommodate you!
Is the Lodge Kid Friendly? Yes! We love kids and the opportunity to teach them how to fish! We host many families and offer children under the age of 12 to fish for free! (limit one child/per adult)
Do I Need an Electrical Converter or Adapter? We use the standard 110 volt United States style plugs.
Is There Internet and TV Available? We have free WiFi Internet service available through out the entire lodge and within all our private guest houses. And we have big screen TVs in each of our private guest houses. There is no television signal out here on the island but our all our TVs are ‘smart’ TVs that have internet capabilities and you can watch programs on Netflix, YouTube, and similar.
