There is a reason that every year more than 90,000 first responders choose the Emergency Services Training Institute (ESTI) for hands-on training in firefighting, emergency medical services, hazardous materials, rescue, Incident Command and other specialized programs. As part of the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) in College Station, ESTI hosts students from across Texas, the United States and around the world at its premiere facility, the Brayton Fire Training Field. Covering nearly 300 acres adjacent to the Texas A&M campus, Brayton Fire Training Field is the world's largest and most comprehensive liquid fuel, live fire training facility for first responders. Staffed by hundreds of experienced instructors, technicians and support personnel, participants can choose among some 200 courses that cover more than 130 specialty areas.
