The rapid expansion of sports betting in the wake of the U.S. Supreme Court’s May 2018 Murphy v. NCAA decision shouldn’t surprise anyone that is paying

attention. As of July 2021, states and D.C., have authorized live sports betting.

In this session, we’ll look at the impact that the rapid fire expansion that sports betting is having on the politics and policies of state governments, and how it relates to Indian Country.
