Carpenters International Training Fund
The Carpenters International Training Fund (CITF) is dedicated to job training and certification programs for the membership of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters (UBC). In addition, CITF prepares and makes available instructional materials on careers in the construction trades for young people in career exploration and career preparation classes, such as high school Construction Technology and Carpentry. The Career Connections Series is such a program - a complete high school program in the carpentry trade and associated transferable skills.
Throughout North America there are also over 200 training facilities with 1,500 full-time and 1,500 part-time instructors fulfilling the needs of the construction industry by providing leading-edge training which is the most comprehensive in the industry.
